A short Act of Remembrance will then follow. This will allows everyone to pause and reflect on the many millions of people who died during this conflict as well as paying respect to those who fought for the freedoms we enjoy today.
The bells of St Thomas’ church will ring out afterwards, joining other churches and cathedrals in celebration of the end of this terrible conflict in Europe.
