Inside Salisbury: Stars Appeal launch Christmas Raffle

Thousands of pounds are up for grabs in the Stars Appeal’s Christmas Raffle this year with a top prize of £2,500.
Money raised in the raffle will go towards the £1m Stars Appeal, Salisbury Hospital’s Charity target to fund new equipment, make enhancements to buildings, and other ongoing projects to support patients across Salisbury Hospital.
This includes support for cancer patients and the provision of accommodation for parents of poorly babies and children in the hospital. It will also help the hospital chaplaincy.
Chair of the Stars Appeal Ambassadors, Consultant Surgeon Mr Graham Branagan, said: “We are so grateful to everyone who supports the Stars Appeal and in doing so, helps us to greatly enhance care for our patients.
“By taking part in the Christmas Raffle you can help us achieve even more. Thank you.”
The star prize has been sponsored by Wilson’s Solicitors.

There is a second prize of £500 - sponsored by FJ Chalke and a third prize of £250. Other cash prizes are also up for grabs.
Tickets cost £1 each and are available both online at www.starsappeal.org, from the Stars Appeal Bookshop, and from raffle ticket sellers at the Hospital’s Main Entrance.
Books of tickets are available on request from the Stars Appeal office by calling 01722 429005 or emailing info@starsappeal.org. They will also be sent out with the Stars Appeal and Hospital Governors’ newsletters.
Online entries will close on January 5.
Paper ticket stubs must be returned to the Stars Appeal by January 6. The draw will take place on January 9, 2025, and the winners will be announced on the Stars Appeal website.
