THE former Conservative Prime Minister, Sir John Major, will be visiting Salisbury for the Sir Edward Heath Charitable Foundation, which takes place in June.
Sir John Major was the British Prime Minister from 1990 to 1997, and had previously served as Foreign Secretary and Chancellor of the Exchequer. The event will be introduced by the writer, Gyles Brandreth, who is Honorary Chair of the Foundation.
Reflecting on an increasingly troubled international and domestic scene, Sir John will focus his remarks on ‘The Changing Political Landscape at Home and Abroad: A Reality Check’.

The Rt Hon Sir John Major will be at Salisbury Cathedral on Thursday, June 26 at 2.15pm.
There are two ticket options.
The lecture in Salisbury Cathedral costs £28.
The lecture in Salisbury Cathedral plus the tea at Arundells costs £35
Tea at Arundells provides an opportunity to socialise with both guests and trustees, as well as many of those who enable Sir Edward Heath’s home (1985-2005) to remain open to the public.
