Inside Salisbury: Sad news for the city as long-established shop to close
Dinghams Cookshop set to close next month

SAD news for Salisbury as a long-established business decides to close.
With 40 years in the city, Dinghams Cookshop and Cafe prided itself on quality products and services, but challenges made it ‘increasingly difficult to maintain the level of service and quality you have come to expect from us.’
The business, located in the Cheese Market, has experienced rising costs, changes in consumer habits and external economic pressures.
A spokesperson for Dinghams on its Facebook page, said: ‘Despite our best efforts to adapt and find solutions, the combination of these pressures has made it unsustainable for us to continue operating as an independent business.
‘We want to ensure that our loyal customers have the opportunity to visit us one last time, whether to grab a coffee, shop for some final items or to say goodbye.’
The final day of operation for Dinghams will be Friday, February 28.
