Inside Salisbury has been steadily growing over the last year, but as an independent business, the aim is to ensure it also evolves in the right direction.
We are currently proposing key changes to the content we offer so that we can bring the essence of Salisbury to you in a way that other publications cannot.
As a small team, we want to maximise the content we provide to you, and rather than sending out similar information to other news outlets, it is important to us that we make Inside Salisbury more informative. There is always more to any story, which means taking the necessary time to delve more deeply, avoiding the conveyor belt of news.
One of the things I felt most keenly when I worked at the Salisbury Journal was that there was little time to investigate a story more fully. Understandably, we had to deliver the news in a timely way; it was fast-paced but at times frustrating, because there were some stories that warranted greater scrutiny.
Therefore, we have decided that to ensure we publish quality articles the emphasis must also be on greater research. Rather than bombarding you with news stories as they arise, we want to consider the most important and take the time to research fully.
Inside Salisbury will be published every weekend with additional content for our paid subscribers.
We are also making changes to the website and will keep you updated with progress. Do let us know what you think.
