A family-friendly day of celebration is due to take place in the city centre in April.
The aim is for the Salisbury Market Place and Guildhall Square to come alive for St. George’s Day on Sunday, April 27 and it will take place from 10am to 4pm.
A short procession will take place led by mace bearers, featuring medieval musicians, knights in shining armour, Morris dancers, and the Salisbury Giant. Salisbury City Councillors will also be there.
Early attendance is advised.
There will be an array of stalls, delicious food and drink on offer, and fun creative workshops, children’s fair rides, a children’s knight school and historical re-enactments.
If you would like to run an activity or workshop or trade at the event, click here. Applications must be in by Friday, March 7.
